The Wisconsin Supreme Court on Tuesday let stand a lower court ruling that declared some delivery drivers for Amazon were employees as the state argued.
Except that Amazon doesn't own the vans.
Seriously, the entire thing is carefully sculpted BS, the drivers work for a company that works for Amazon, a company for whom Amazon is nice enough to set up with vans, computers, scanners, and everything else they need, long as they keep Amazon happy, but at any time for any reason Amazon can pull the rug out from under them.
For the record, I'm a Flex driver, IE contract Amazon driver, which is why I know how the other side of the deliveries work.
