      Thankfully, they’ve been pranked and are basically asking for a spec sheet on waving a permanent magnet near a coil of wire which is otherwise deenergized, as far as I understand

      This is the type of video they’re referencing: How to Make free energy Generator With Magnet very easy at home, that fucking title lol

      With permanent magnets and coils of wire you really can generate small currents; maybe even 50 mA or something like that. It might even be a big enough little burst of current to light up a single diode very briefly, like in the video

      That’s Faraday’s Law and real generators really do “just” wave magnets around some coils of wire, like in this video about about the basic principles of a hydro generator

      You just definitely cannot recreate anything even resembling it with those tools
