So after 2 days, bumping will no longer affect a post's Active rank due to the way the algorithm works. As such, if you're still in need, you should make a new thread.
(Note: This algorithm is going to change soon, such that bumping will still have some impact up to a week after the post, but the impact of later comments will be relatively limited; overall it will probably be necessary to make threads more often than the current two days, but early engagement will push new threads up to the top much more readily than it currently does, which should hopefully be a net positive for mutual aid posts.)
