My first impression is HELL TO THE FUCK YES
The first think you see in the menu is a person with a machine gun wearing a red bandana and standing next to a bunch of Red/Black posters with cog wheels and labor slogans on them. 10/10 and I haven't even started the game yet.
HAHAH the first thing you do after waking up from cryosleep is throw a toolbox at a cops head, steal their gun, and merk them with it. The gameplay is fun too I guess.
Yeah the good guys are an Anarchosyndicalist commune made up of former prisoners and their descendants. The shooting is solid, you get a gravity gun, it's a really pretty use of lo-poly.
Update from 3 hours in; this is 100% worth ten bucks. There's a single player campaign and a separate single player STAlKER style sandbox. Lots of fun weapons. Lots of chaotic three and four way battles with ai. Lots of spooky half life and stalker shit going on, a lot of which i've been running the fuck away from because what the actual fuck?
And, critically, you can pet the dog. And bring the dog along as your buddy in sandbox.
It's called ADACA. I picked it up on steam bc it was on sale and folks were saying the campaign was a nice, managable 5 hours. And, uhh, based af. Just our here with my
