Went with a Lenovo ThinkPad T470s |i5-6300U | 14" | 8 GB | 512 GB SSD | Win 10 Pro. I was looking at the Lenovo Carbon X1 6th Gen, too, but couldn't justify the price (was about double the less sexy T470s).

Decided to get the iPhone SE (2020). My first iPhone in a long time; hopefully I can get all my Android apps to work.
The refurbished pickings are much slimmer in Germany than the US; spent about $570for both.

Any tips? Thoughts? A good resource to get up to speed on Linux?
