Flower Don’t bring flower on a plane if you can help it. If you are really desperate to bring something back mail it thru USPS and it’ll get home fine

Edibles Edibles are by far the easiest thing to bring on a plane, domestic or international. Rule of thumb: don’t put anything illegal in your checked bag EVER. Keep it in your carry on. It is highly, highly unlikely that you will be stopped at security for anything other than liquids above the max. Take your edibles out of the packaging they came in and put them in a ziplock bag. If you’re really noided, you can even mix in other candy so it looks like a snack mix. Throw them in your carry on and you’re good to go.

Cartridges Lots of people get stressed about carts, especially because of all the signs they have in airports about vape batteries. Fear not! Best practice is normally to leave your battery at home and just bring your carts. Most places have batteries from $10-$20 and you can just screw then on. If you want to bring your own battery put it separate from the cartridge in a different part of your carry on. NEVER EVER EVER PUT A BATTERY IN YOUR CHECKED BAG. Now for storing the carts themselves. If you carry a makeup bag or travel with someone who does, that’s usually the best place to pack the carts you want to bring. If no make-up bag is available, throw them into a pencil pouch with some pens and white out and stuff.

I’ve successfully used these methods for the past ~5-6 years or so and the only time I got busted was coming back from an illegal state into my state, which was only decriminalized. My partner put flower in their checked bag and they were looking for it. Use common sense. If you bring anything else besides edibles try to use all of it while you are away just to be safe.
