I'm most familiar with them from old subreddits, Facebook groups, and appearances on other shows.
Brett always came across as the sort of activist that lives for his cause, and I mean that with admiration. Nice guy, very kind. I'm guessing that's the direction he wants to take his success in.
Bryan also has good politics, but he's no longer really the sort of guy to try and change the political landscape with a podcast. He wants to bullshit and be entertaining and be a good guy, I think. Sometimes you get older and you personally accept what you can and cannot do.
Yeah, there's definitely far worse things than realising that your podcasr isn't transformative praxis and deciding to do your own thing, private or otherwise.
