“Some wonder why there was such overwhelming support for us to shut down potentially TikTok or other entities of that nature. If you look at the postings on TikTok and the number of mentions of Palestinians relative to other social media sites, it’s overwhelmingly so among TikTok broadcasts. So I’d note that’s of real interest, and the President will get the chance to make action in that regard,” Romney said.

Blinken's statement serves as a poignant reminder of the west's increasing ineptitude and desperate attempts at control. The direct access provided by social media allows people to see through the carefully crafted narratives and manipulated images that once shielded western propaganda from scrutiny.

This unfiltered exposure, coupled with the emotional resonance it evokes, has left western leaders grasping for straws in their attempts to maintain control over public opinion. In a desperate bid to regain some semblance of authority, they're resorting to banning platforms like TikTok which only serves as further evidence of the west's waning influence and growing irrelevance on the world stage.

As a side note, nothing reveals that US is a single party system like Blinken being interviewed by Romney at the fucking McCain institute.

If the US' official self-understanding as a country with the rule of law, checks and balances and strong protection of private property is true, the TikTok ban should be overturned by any court.

    If.

We've let interpretation drift from intent and our politicians speak out of both sides of their mouths.
