Tostilocos is a very common street food across all of México, the only basic ingredients being tostitos (round tortilla chips) some type of sauce some extra ingredients. Each varying depending where you are.
Since there's no real hard and fast rules for what the tostilocos could have, I would like to give my own version:
Czechvault's Own Tostilocos Recipe (ALPHA)
- One bag of Tostitos (preferably green salsa but any round tortilla chips can work)
- One bag of Japanese Peanuts
- A generous amount of hot sauce (Preferably Valentina Sauce, but Chamoy Sauce, which is sweeter, can work too)
- A smattering of chili powder (Broke: Tajín Chili, Woke: Miguelito Chili)
- One whole lime, squeezed
- Diced vegetables (Which can be either or all: Cucumber, Carrot, Jicama, Mango and Corn, just not sweet corn), amount to your own taste.
