    Yeah cinnamon's printer applet i believe automatically adds and configures printers on your network.

    I don't think kde or gnome do that, probably better that way.

      I'm using regular Mint at the moment after years on Debian/KDE, and Cinnamon has been a pleasant experience both in capabilities and stability.
