If Biden were to promise a stimulus check for groceries and essentials he would still lose because no one would believe him (considering he lied about student loan forgiveness and stopped the Covid stimulus checks among other promises.)

If Trump were to promise a groceries and essentials stimulus check, however, he would absolutely win and some people would vote for him purely for that reason.

We would still have record low voter turnout though.
