Alright so my friend's place burned to the ground, literally. The fire started in the flat above and spread. Everything is gone. I care about this person a lot and it's incredibly lucky that nobody was killed.

EDIT: I should add that they're not expecting to get a new place for "up to 19months" according to insurance. Literally anything big or small is incredibly useful, this is an entire family.
