The last time an heavyweight champion reigned was 1999.

Prize money isn't confirmed but believed to be about $100 million.

Nobody knows what will happen tonight. They are both superb boxers. Neither is that powerful (Fury has 71% of his wins by knockout, Usyk 67%) but man can they box. The rankings have Usyk 3rd best pound-for-pound boxer in the world.

Nobody ever beat either man. Until tonight.

Weaknesses: Usyk has had trouble with bodypunchers. Dubois downed him for minutes with this punch that was controversially ruled low. This punch came close to ending Fury's unbeaten record. Here is Mike Tyson telling some guy how to beat Fury.

How does boxing work, championship wise? My impression is that there isn't really a particular league or promotion and every boxer is kind of like a self-owned business in themselves, which is why fighter pay is so high - is that right? Are championships then like a socially-decided "come and take it" thing where they promote the event as a championship fight if it seems believable that it's a championship fight?
