I've got about 10 comments for every like. Twitter suggests I make a filter to handle all the notifications. I can't possibly respond to the pissy, stupid chuds writing back. What should I do?

6000 people have seen my message in 3 hours. Thats pretty good. I feel like, at the very least my message is reaching people outside of my bubble.
Yea, I'm wondering about that. I only post political stuff from the account, and have removed all uploaded photos or references to my location. But my account name sort of gives away my first name, which is not a common one. You think I should start over with a different account? I have over 1k followers. And is it safe to link to my account here?
