I think a key cope for these people is still that the US and allies' production hasn't really fully been unleashed. They were also claiming Biden was going to expand our MIC realistically, I guess because these people operate on contrarian headline takes circulating the posting arenas. When you throw a bunch of money into these expensive DOD projects it doesn't really do anything other than multiply the cost of a project further. We never magically developed the capacity to bring chipmaking to the US which was something else Biden people trumpeted quite a bit years ago
