This shit isn't new. I remember credulous rubes 20 years ago that were super excited to be junior vice regional managers of marketing and it was clear no actual raise was involved, just more work. :capitalist-laugh:
I had a friend roped into this at a rentsl car agency and all it meant was more work and his pay got docked when anyone damaged a car. it supposedly came back if the company could recoup their losses but lol they'd never inform him that they'd done so.
