In response to the RSI thing, it's completely possible that's the case, but it's also possible you're experience that shitty RSI thing of changing away from the habit makes it slightly worse while your overworked muscles have to work in new ways thing.
This isn't advice in any way because like, you know your body more than me, definitely don't take my word for it, but just bringing up that it's a thing that seems to happen. Same as "correcting your posture". Shit sux.
Edit: Just to add, please be careful with RSI injuries and posture and overworking yourselves comrades. The types of injuries you get from that shit will literally fuck up a huge portion of your life if you're not careful to listen to your body early and investigate.
appreciate it comrade. lucky enough that I get to do PT regularly and don't have any work restrictions. just got wrist tendonitis into a bad place this winter and am slowly working my way out of it. it's why I tried this keyboard in the first place.
you're probably right about the short term pain but I didn't get that with more ergo keyboard/chair/etc. setup. I should probably spend less time on my phone tbh

Honestly even in the short term this can only help.
I get it tho, shits hard when it's the gateway to just about everything. Glad to hear you're getting through things ok and hope you recover swiftly!
