Title. One of my friends is interested in learning the language and I want to help them out, but the duolingo method doesn't work for them. I can teach them a good amount of conjugations and such but I was wondering if anyone had good vocabulary lists or anything for me to forward them, or had good ideas for what I need to look at, or just teaching languages in general!

Just stick your tongue halfway down your throat and make gurgling noises. Boom, now you're speaking french.

essayez anki, ou quelqu'un d'autres logiciels de répétition espacée.

pour moi, je commence toujours avec une liste des 100 mots les plus utilisés lorsque j'essaie d'apprendre une nouvelle langue.

As an ancillary, watching French movies and tv and reading out loud labels that are in English and French has been a good way for me to keep up on my middling French.

Kids' media is easier to follow. Ernest & Celestine is a great movie to watch and it's right at my high school French level.
