Hey everyone! I just made this account because the one I originally made before the change over to Lemmy isn't working. I enter my username/email (I have tried both) and password, but all that happens is the bear head spins and nothing else. Just got done trying turning off all ad and tracker blocking in Firefox (my main browser), and tried Chrome, Edge, Vivaldi, Waterfox, Brave, and even freaking PaleMoon with the same results. Also tried resetting my password, which does send the email with the link. But it just does the same spinning head animation after I enter the new password.

Are all the old accounts now just dead? Or is it something that is just a matter of the databases finishing the move? I just want to know why this is happening and if I should just give up on the old account.

Adding additional issue here I also just noticed that I get the same issue while trying to sign into this new account. So whenever I get signed out from this current session I am in typing this, I will not be able to get in again!

      Yes. I thought about that, and is part of the reason I tried all of the browsers. almost all of them hadn't ever been used to go to or sign into this site before.

      Guess I am just gonna end up making a lot of accounts for here. Just wait to be signed out, and make a new variation. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

    I've been having issues with that too, but this account is fine for some reason. Not sure why it would apply to some accounts and not others.

      I was hopeful that any of my mobile browsers would work and same as on my PC. Just glad I am not banned as I thought I might be. Sucks to hear others also having this issue, but it being more than me means it has a better chance of being fixed.

    I am now on account three, and it looked like this new one wasn't even going to load past the sign-up page. Just really strange how it just gets stuck with the bear head spinning like it isn't actually submitting the info.
