Just found this today, got Reddit Is Fun working again on my android phone. I think you may need Root to run it, not sure.

Revanced doesn't usually need root, at least not for YouTube. I'll have to test the patch for boost for Reddit later
Boost still works from it's play store download. Patching is not needed for it rn.
You can Patch Sync since the dev took it down.
