    This comment on that video made me lol:

    So true, I remember back in the 90s when master splinter was straight. And when I say straight I mean straight clapping them female rat cheeks. A fundamental aspect of sensei splinter's character is his love and appreciation for the female form. Without that, who even is he? When I think of splinter, I think of his heterosexuality first and foremost, and it's disgusting for these woke moralists to reject the nucleus of his character. It's like ignoring shredder's asthma - what do we even have left?.

    LMAO it's not even true. The promo material was supposedly a mistake (referring to Splinter's love interest as 'himself'). In the film they refer to the character as she.
