The trailer sold me so much I went to purchase a Netflix sub which is something I don't do because I think Netflix sucks, but I wanted to support what I believed was to be great. And it really is great. I wish Netflix enabled purchase per-item so I could just buy what I want to clearly signal to them what to invest into. Finally a good movie!
Amazing would definitely not be the word I'd use for this movie, average fits it better. It's not terrible but it's far from great either.
I liked the acting in some scenes, but the rest is meh you won't see anything you haven't already seen somewhere else.
The story is pretty basic, I had to watch the movie in three parts over two days, this how not interesting the story is ...
I mean there is no suspense they sold the plot in the title already.
Otherwise they could manage a enjoyable film, they had good actors and the budget but Netflix has to do its thing, so creativity is not part of the plan. For me it is a 5/10, only because of the actor's effort otherwise it would be 3.5.
