"Privacy" for normies is.... Weird. You should use FOSS software... NOW!!

This is true, however, considering that brave has been removing their important privacy features (strict fingerprint blocking), has telemetry ON by default, and is involved with a lot of crypto shenanigans, I thought it deserved to be in the slot for "shit software that normies use".

    This purple creation rlly uploaded a video that's 25fps peltier-laugh <3

Idk how good the Smarttube Next android app is for privacy, it uses google accounts so probably not great, but nothing beats it for watching slop on a TV. I never use the youtube site or app.

Also to be real, a barrier to normies for Matrix/Element is that getting into rooms and spaces can be a little obtuse, far from "idiot-proof". Normos will gravitate to discord just because it's easier.

Nice lil ramble though, ty ✨ I try to foss everything based purely on principle though, foss being way better than goofy freemium closed source Windows/Android software, which I noticed even when I was younger. There is no disc authoring program on Windows anywhere as good as k3b, for instance.

Thanks for your comment! Yeah, sorry if the FPS wasn't very good XD I'm pretty new to editing but I try my best and I couldn't find a lot of good background footage online without watermarks or anything, idk about Smarttube, but I use Clipious on Android and it's decent privacy wise. Glad that you cared about FOSS software at such a young age and I wish you luck on your privacy journey.

Oh no big, 25 is the normal 30fps equivalent for PAL regions, some channels like RMC The Cave still upload in 25 or 50, just quaint lol

It was the adblockers that started me, I was an early Adblockplus/Ghostery adopter big-cool ty, someday I will get rid of android too.
