I have a newborn. She is beautiful. Her big brother is stepping up, which has been really cool to see.

Congratulations! Watching our two play is both heartwarming* and anxiety inducing lol. I've learned that our youngest is tougher then you think, very opinionated for someone who can't talk, and faster then you might guess for someone who can't walk haha.

Once the new one settles in, hope she is a sleeper. Our first was not but our second mostly just falls asleep once he's in his crib.
We had power outages due to storms 3 times in the last week. We got more storms rolling in today and we see the trail of outages in it's wake on the map. Gotta love having to navigate outages with kids. We're getting pretty well prepped at this point though. I just got a 30amp cable for the generator that plugs into our transfer switch, and an inverter for all the electric lawn care equipment batteries I have.
I can hear the thunder rolling in as I post this... Wish us luck...
My little brother and his partner and their huge yellow lab are staying with my parents this week. We came over to see them. I was a little nervous because last time we saw the dog it was a 95 lbs puppy. Thankfully it’s calmed down a lot. And my kids have a new best friend for the week. My one-year-old is determined to ride it like a horse.
Labs are great dogs. Grew up with one, and he was very sweet.
