We don't get any of that because we're not, and I actually lean more towards federating but banning users for rulebreaking. The visibility of what instance a person comes from is a good indicator to have in discussions for people to make judgements from rather than having their origins hidden by forcing them to make alt accounts.
that's is a very common request so it may happen if the devs prioritize it.
I swear that was a chatbot. they would habitually misuse basic words and refuse to answer questions in the same manner as a chatbot, lacking all sense of object permanence.
