I made a post a little while back on one sub, it got come replies. Nothing abnormal. But when I click on them to reply it just leads to a mostly blank page. Not an error but not a blank page either. Just a mostly blank page. Lemmy still shows the header bar on top. And the links to "modlog" and "legal" and "instances" at the bottom. Everything between is blank. But there is space there as if SOMEthing was supposed to be there. Is this a bug?

    could be a new bug in 0.18.4, never noticed this before. so like is this when you look at the reply in your inbox or try and directly go to the comment from your inbox?

            hmm. maybe try logging in to a private window, see if it's still happening? if not I think it's just a new bug, it's not happening to me

              Oh! I loaded it in a private tab and it actually showed this error.

              Error!

              There was an error on the server. Try refreshing your browser. If that doesn't work, come back at a later time. If the problem persists, you can seek help in the Lemmy support community or Lemmy Matrix room. If you would like to reach out to one of tchncs admins for support, try the following Matrix addresses:

              @Milan:tchncs.de
              @erack:tchncs.de

              The server returned this error: couldnt_find_post. This may be useful for admins and developers to diagnose and fix the error

    This is more of a support question, related to using Lemmy. Please see the sidebar for a list of communities that offer support. Removing under rule #3.

    Happens to me too. I notice sometimes a post will say 4 comments, but I only see 1. If I refresh the page the other 3 comments will appear. I found if I refresh the post first, then follow the link in my inbox, everything works as expected.

    My uneducated guess is that you get a notification someone replied to you but when you follow the link it takes you to the unrefreshed post with missing comments.
