During the 2014 Venice Biennale, the award winning Korean pavilion displayed work from both the DPRK and the ROK. The DPRK portion was organized by Koryo Studies. Here is the brief from this website on "Utopian Tours":
Koryo Studio commissioned a North Korean architect to work on ‘Commissions for Utopia’, designs for sustainable tourism. We sat down with the North Korean architect and talked about trends in creating architecture that leaves a small environmental footprint. North Korean architects who were trained pre-digitalisation are expert in rendering their drawings by hand using acrylic paints, creating artworks in their own right.
The works were exhibited at the 2014 Venice Biennale, Korean pavilion (Golden Lion winner).
Here are some of my favorites:

Mt. Kumgang Bird’s Nest Villa Interior
Mountain Conicals
And finally, the MVP of communism:

So much color and not an advertisement in sight I never realized how much I desire to see buildings with color.
Compare this to the future capitalism sells. Either desolate grey dystopia or boring white Apple(tm) sleekness.
That's the new era! Commies started praising NK too, instead of just China and Russia.
Then why even comment at all? Just enjoy the cool ideas for ecological architecture.
Because I was thinking that it was weird lemmygrad never praised NK, but at least their friendly instance started doing it. You know these projects aren't going to be realized, right? Read or watch about the construction of the Pyongyang skyscraper to know how it's gonna go even if they start it.
You know these projects aren't going to be realized, right?
no shit. They're concept drawings lol
In that case these are just drawings. Concept art is usually made to visualize the idea of the project. If there's no intention of creating it it's just art. Concept art should inspire the final product, but there's not going to be a final product here.
I've been pro-DPRK for years. I've read Kim Il-Sung's writings, have you?
