    Damn. That's awesome.

I work with a renters rights org and we got a tip from a renter that their building was purchased and the new landlord won't be renewing any current leases. Everyone in the building is getting evicted at the end of August.

I have friends sharing emails with me from their building managers reminding renters that the eviction moratorium is over and they will start charging late fees again.

It's pretty fucked. I am at a lose with how to organize against this.

if all else fails; break a sewer main. the smell will never come out. let it soak into the ground. evicted ground is worth nothing, and it should remain so.

assuming none of the other renters in that building will organize, because they're all trash americans.
