When I first heard about the release of Spot, I was kind of overwhelmed by it and decided to watch through Boston Dynamics' video tutorials for operating the unit (available on YouTube).

What surprised me most about those vids is how intuitive and simple Spot's operation is. I know the real complications come from developing some specialized use for Spot, but walking it up stairs and general mobility don't seem to be difficult at all.

However, for how sleek this robodog is, the many pinch points around the legs and joints are very dangerous 😬
