It's always struck me personally as a place that is especially heartless in its attitude toward the unhoused, with this story about a gallery owner using a hose being a particularly dark manifestation of that.

It's a PR stunt by a political action group to stoke even more of the reactionary policies that made SF into the dystopian libertarian shit-hole it currently is.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but what I see here is the guy is supposed to be fixing the problem profiting off the problem.
