I finished the AvP omnibus and the Claremont story was so weird and I had a hard time following how many different threads it was weaving. But props to it for doing something outside of the typical "shoot alien, shoot predator, repeat" a lot of the aliens comics sadly fall into.
Anything else worth checking out? I am intrigued by the rest of Aliens, especially the stories with power armor straight out of starship troopers.
Yeah. I have or had the Omnibus and it's full of weird shit. The whole thing where athletes were using alien derrived steroids and going berserk was memorable. The droids and synthetics guarding their post to the end on the waterworld. There were some neat ideas.
Yeah I liked the idea of humans having to live in floating sky cities because earth was lost to the xenomorphs.
