They are just summarising Twitter. And Twitter is their only source. No attempts to ask the poster of those screenshots were made. I am not a journalist, but it seems like bad work were done.

Did you read this article that I linked? They literally conducted an interview with the girl?

I am not doubting the existence of such people. But these screenshots and the picture look like all those others on Twitter, Facebook and Reddit, which are obviously not real. I mean, any Post on r/insaneparents looks more believable than this

Sounds like you are doubting the existence of such people. Sounds like something that a white person with no experience with racism would say.

Was the buzzfeed article there before you edited your comment?

Were those links also there before the post was made?

When I saw the post there were no articles. Just Image. When you answered me, you commented only one source, not buzzfeed. My comment applies to the other source.

Sounds like you are doubting the existence of such people. Sounds like something that a white person with no experience with racism would say.

Stop talking bullshit. It sounds like someone who simply posts a screenshot and when it gets doubted for valid reasons, it get edited (without any hint that it got edited) and some source gets added. Either you are doing it on purpose or you didn't know it better and made an mistake.

Had you posted the buzzfeed article from the beginning or edited your comment and edited the post that everyone can see that you added it, than everything would be fine.

      Edit:

Your response and the amount of likes you got shows me that people here still believe that America is not as racist as it actually is

Even this weren't there when I answered. Everyone now can see that I edited my comment.

I literally added both of those when you asked for proof

When I saw the post there were no articles. Just Image. When you answered me, you commented only one source, not buzzfeed. My comment applies to the other source.

No I literally sent both articles at the same time. There must be something wrong with your the client. When you asked for proof, I sent both articles, and then after sending them, I had to edit a word in the message. I don’t think one has to say “Edit: Typo”.

        Stop talking bullshit.

Okay, you are just rude and cannot take any criticism.

It sounds like someone who simply posts a screenshot and when it gets doubted for valid reasons, it get edited (without any hint that it got edited) and some source gets added. Either you are doing it on purpose or you didn't know it better and made an mistake.

I added links because you were asking for proof and now you are saying that the proof that I provided that you asked for was somehow me trying to trick you?! Wtf?!

Had you posted the buzzfeed article from the beginning or edited your comment and edited the post that everyone can see that you added it, than everything would be fine.

I literally did… You are literally the kind of person who just likes to argue to cast doubt and diminished lived experiences with racism and catalog them as fake instead of discussing the actual problem when someone is trying to teach you about racism in America. This obviously comes from a place of white fragility and ignorance (not for “good reasons” even though you tricked yourself into believing so).

Moreover, you just always gotta have the last word and get defensive when presented with any criticism, don’t you? Specially when it comes to notions about race, and doubly specially when it comes to black people. This is the attitude of most white Redditors.

I am done with this convo. It is a waste of my time.

I don’t think one has to say “Edit: Typo”.

One has to say it. And you see right here why this is needed. I can also just edit the shit out of my comments to make you look stupid. Or it may be also a good source for misunderstandings.

Okay, you are just rude and cannot take any criticism.

Criticism for what? Doubting this screenshot, because there were no sources and it looked like a typical rage bait from Twitter?

You made a mistake and that's all. You posted just a screenshot, didn't you? I asked if you are sure, that this is not staged, because something like that is typical for social media. Rage bait. Later you seem to have silently added the sources for that and answered me with one source, without any text. After I commented it you edited your comment, that you are shocked how dare I receive so many upvotes, they had to be white. For real, people just wanted proof, nothing more and upvoted my comment because of that. Later you answered to my comment, that I am probably totally white because I didn't read the buzzfeed article which you added later.

I added links because you were asking for proof and now you are saying that the proof that I provided that you asked for was somehow me trying to trick you?! Wtf?!

Just stop with this behaviour. I already explained it. Either you did it on purpose or you didn't know it better. You just understand what you want. I never said that you wanted to trick me with those articles.

          I literally did…

You self admitted that you posted those articles later on.

You are literally the kind of person who just likes to argue to cast doubt and diminished lived experiences with racism and catalog them as fake instead of discussing the actual problem when someone is trying to teach you about racism in America.

I doubted this screenshot because it looked like a typical Twitter rage bait screenshot. I mean, are you for real? Do you expect, that someone should blindly believe a screenshot from social media without any questions for source and proof, only because the topic is racism? And if they doubting it and want proof, they are probably some very white people! You have to be joking. You didn't even tried to teach or whatever. A screenshot is not a teaching.

Moreover, you just always gotta have the last word and get defensive when presented with any criticism, don’t you?

You are trying to project something one me, probably some strawman. You can beat your strawman however you like, but it don't apply to our conversation. Others can see as well, that it doesn't. You didn't even try to criticise.

This obviously comes from a place of white fragility and ignorance (not for “good reasons” even though you tricked yourself into believing so).

It is getting more and more ridiculous. While I understood it in the way, that it just all developed to this point, because you edited your post and comments after I answered each time - speaking of something like a misunderstanding - your point is simply:"You are white, ignorant, fragile and also very very white".

Specially when it comes to notions about race, and doubly specially when it comes to black people. This is the attitude of most white Redditors.

There must be something wrong with your the client.

For one second you had a good thought. Let's say I had indeed a problem with Voyager and it showed me only one source and no text. And also let's add the fact that you edited your post which all lead to a misunderstanding. I would totally believe it and I also don't think you had any bad intentions or whatever (This why I wrote, that you either did it on purpose or you just didn't know it better and made a mistake). But you were rather pretty fast simply calling me white, fragile white and so on. Because of the buzzfeed article, that screenshot is more believable for me.

I am done with this convo. It is a waste of my time.

Do whatever you want. I don't now if you will read it, but try to give a hint if you edited something. And don't be in denial if you made a mistake.
