Tropical Storm Debby gained strength over the weekend to become a Category 1 hurricane, making landfall on Florida’s Gulf Coast early Monday morning with maximum sustained winds of 75 miles per hour, reported The Associated Press.
Anyone in the area? Care to report on what you've witnessed and seen and experienced vis a vis the current situation?
It's fucking up the mid Atlantic and NE too. Houses weren't designed to get dumped on by tropical depression levels of buckets of rain. All the shitty landscaping from the 1950s where they didn't take into consideration flash flood conditions from basically small hurricanes dumping 5 inches of rain in the middle of PA. Lots of basements that were fine and still are mostly fine are gonna experience flooding today, maybe tomorrow but for sure today. Prepare the water vacs and dehumidifiers... get your shit up off the floor...

Once again, the 1950s come back to bite us all in our collective asses...
