I hope this does happen, but the article only cites "sources" so I won't hold my breath

As happy as I am about this, I hope we're not going to see "coincidental" increase of attacks there by ISIS(US/israeli proxy, in my opinion) or other US/israeli proxies after the withdrawal of US military.

I don’t understand why the Iraqi government doesn’t just give the militias the tacit permission to help the US out? The current government of Afghanistan showed the world how it is done.

Well, militias regularly shoot at American bases and Iraqi government does nothing about it, so it can probably be considered an unspoken permission.

I was hoping the resistance against US troops would increase. I think what complicates the situation for the Iraqi resistance is the competing allegiances between the different sects and ethnic groups. They aren’t as united as the Afghans were in resisting US occupation and its puppet regime.

I read this as "End of US Military to Be Declared Soon" and was all sicko-charging yes-hahaha-yes-l

Still good news on the off chance it's true though.
