The fuck do the people saying "tax the rich" really think that's going to help? I've been seeing it more and more, particularly from burger liberals.

It just shows they know nothing about economics and haven't bothered to put even the smallest amount of effort into critical analysis of how the rich behave. Burger liberals in particular, you're country runs on fiat currency, they don't need to tax the fucking rich to do things or they couldn't project death across the globe.

They CHOOSE not to spend that money on you, it's not because they lack the tax money. The only way to stop the rich is to remove them from power.

One of the more disappointing slogans my party came up with. They explained to me bts why they do it but I'm still like 'fuck you mean with this socdem shit'

There isn't really a reason to do an "either or" here but a "yes and".
Both have happened in every successful socailist revolution.
I think that for many regular people, "tax the rich" is not as tainted with anti-communist propaganda as "seize the means of production". Taxing the rich does weaken them. Revolutions aren't built in a day comrades.

Not that taxing the rich would be a bad thing just insufficient, but maybe a move that could help revolutionary cells to gain traction
