I kind of just assume you have to obfuscate and/or scrub your digital "trail" as best you can to avoid that kind of stuff everywhere now. Not too hard on the computer or maybe a phone, but most every other device is screwed. I managed to side-load a YT frontend app on an android TV and that seems to help separate things between the YT apps on the device itself.
I've read that youtube's cookies/suggestions can follow you even if you delete or change accounts.
