The guy tries to ask leading questions to build up the narrative that they're getting the religion brainwashed out of them but it really doesn't work lol. It's a good thing that he didn't bother editing the video before posting it like the news organizations do with theirs.
Summary (my mandarin is shit so I'm relying on the translator and a Youtube comment correcting the translator for some of this):
Interviewee 1 (0:00-2:45)
- Downloaded audio about how the CPC are infidels and so they shouldn't listen to them
- Attended the camp for around a year and needs to improve his mandarin before he is able to graduate which he estimates will take another year
Interviewee 2 (2:45-7:45)
- Participated in illegal Quran preaching group and also forced her mother to pray at home which got them into a fight
- Stayed for around a year
- Will leave after she improves her mandarin and hits her personal goals in terms of vocational skills training
- Every week they get 2 days off to go home on the weekend and they also get holidays like Eid al-Adha off
Interviewee 3 (7:45-9:08)
- Watched anti-Chinese videos, insulted Han people who drink and smoke and forced his family to not associate with Han people
Interviewee 4 (9:08-12:35)
- Watched videos about how Muslims should be separated from non-muslims and apparently made a video about how every Uyghur needs to pray and people who do not will go to hell
- When asked whether they were afraid of their teachers, he says that no, they aren't afraid of their teachers and furthermore they think of their teachers as friends
Sidenotes
- My mandarin may be shit, but I've listened to enough of it to know that especially when considering their/their classmates body language, the responses the interviewees were giving sounded natural and like they meant what they were saying
- You can see what is presumably Uyghur script in the classroom and in the halls
