How entitled do you have to be to freely expose this kind of theory on a post about consipary theories?

Original comment:

"I once heard of a pediatrician who successfully convinced a concerned mother that anti-vax ideology was likely a psyop by the Russians to weaken the health of the American populace starting with our children. Doesn’t hurt that it’s probably true.

EDIT: My personal conspiracy theory is that the Chinese government did engineer (or at least selectively cultivate) COVID, but not to kill Americans. In the early days of the pandemic there was some speculation that it affected some blood types more than others, particularly type A. While no link to blood type specifically was found, type A is a more common genetic trait as you move out of Asia and towards the middle east. China has been heavily persecuting the Uyghurs (Chinese Muslims), and those who have managed to get out of the camps have reported medical experimentation and being injected with unknown substances. In addition, the virus would also kill a significant number of the older population, which is important because of the population crunch they’re about to experience due to one-child policies resulting in a high amount of female-specific infanticide. They’re about to have a bunch of old people and a massive shortage of able bodied young people to care for them. Even if they didn’t directly “engineer” the virus in a gene-sequencing manner, they have a lot off motive to just generally cultivate and spread (you can’t really “breed” a virus) an infectious disease targeting people of middle eastern descent and elders.

Thank you for coming to my tinfoil-hat Ted Talk."

The problem with this whole theory is China's covid response was to lock down harder than any other country. If there was a country who engineered covid to get rid of the elderly and ethnic minorities it would be one whose covid response was basically "If they die, they die." not one who made sure to keep people safe from the virus as much as possible.

A disease affects old infirm people more than young healthy people? What? This must be a Chinese bioweapon designed to get rid of all their elderly, which makes sense because as we all know the government of China was eager to allow the virus to spread as much as possible and implemented no measures intended to stop the spread, unlike the glorious USA where we took the virus seriously because we value our elderly 🇱🇷🇵🇷🇱🇷🇵🇷🇱🇷🇵🇷

New York's response to shoveling the elderly into nursing homes and locking them in was actually a SeeSeePee plot

I was still working as a sous chef at the start of the pandemic, I remember our KP, who was a crackhead, smoking some crack on his lunch break and then coming back into where I was working, eyes glazed, telling me that China manufactured COVID to kill all the rich westerners.

    Same energy

It’s always someone else’s fault, they can never take responsibility for their own shit. Everything wrong with the US (and the West as a whole) is because of Russia or China or even the DPRK. This is so damn childish.

Change China and Chinese to America and American and this post sounds too close to reality (except the whole kill the elderly part as it's the elderly vampires running the show back home; for that, switch Uyghur to minorities and elderly to homeless).

Is there an easy way to get them, apart from manually navigating to the post?

If a user from the appropriate instance already commented, you can use the Fediverse button to see it from their instance.

It's pretty easy to go to the community or search for the post on the other instance though

What's funny is that I remember the original conspiracy they're referring to. It was told to me as a funny story, about how a doctor found the best way to convince anti-vaxxers to get vaccinated was by telling an even more ridiculous conspiracy theory.

And then this dipshit immediately admits they'd believe the conspiracy theory, then proceeds to edit it with a dozen other conspiracy theories to justify sinophobia. The lack of self-awareness is astounding.

Who's going to tell them that Uyghurs being Muslim doesn't make them of "middle eastern descent" and that they're genetically more Central Asian?
