Don't post selfies on here chapos, it's not worth it. This was posted earlier today in a thread full of chuds trying to cope with the polface meme
afaik this was compiled of people posting selfies on the subreddit, and then lurking chuds compiling them.
the subreddit was monitored by these types of chuds, and this site is almost certainly being monitored too.
all of these were collected from the "trans cuties thread" posts, not random selfies. Those threads had warnings about only posting if you were comfortable with chuds seeing them.
Stormfront and several other right wing forums backed up literally every single photo from those threads. Pretty sure there's also a Facebook group that exists solely to archive and dox those who took part.
I'm not as worried about bored 4chan nerds. While they might have semi-competent OSINT skills, the real danger comes from government entities.
Sure, 4chan nerds can and will dox users here, as long as they're able to. However, the worst they can do is dox people. If (and it's almost certain that it is) the forum is monitored and then the info is used to snatch people out of their houses, then we'll have come onto a bigger problem.

The right time to start locking down your opsec is yesterday.
What does locking down your opsec mean? Is it simply not posting private info on your accounts and getting a VPN? Is it using a VPN, scrubbing existing accounts of personal info, switching to a secure OS, and using safer search engines? Or is it some place in between those two?
that's the thing. I've been on numerous closed off forums, and they always quickly died off because of a lack of users.
It's really, really, really difficult to do user verification well.

that's what blows my mind, like I'm sure that if I showed something to someone who isn't a brainwormed manchild, the most they might say is that the style on the people in the pic veers towards "queer/alternative" which is fine?
Meanwhile, the poor fuckers haven't realized that even if they don't feel that they've achieved their ideal look, what pushes people away is not their physical appearance (since that is subjective and if someone likes being with you, they can either not mind or even like your appearance), but their toxic behavior.

Pretty sure some of those predate r/cth. Chuds just collect pictures and say they're from whatever group they don't like. There's a reason why they use the same few pictures of people with colored hair for everything.
I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case, but I remember seeing a few selfies posted on the subreddit. If wouldn't be hard to create a filter for the term "selfie" and have a bot autosave all posts that match the filter.

Yes we do. We don't want our comrades to be put in harms way. All it takes is one chud to recognize someone and take things too far. We should not be providing them the ammunition.
