this and macron creating a conservative government despite leftists winning the most votes in france makes me wonder if a leftist victory is ever possible.

Not through liberal "democracies" no, where the entire point is to keep capitalists in power. Unionizing and organizing for a revolution has always been the only way.

Not the "proper" way, that way was designed to prevent a leftist victory from ever happening, and shutting it down if it does. However, history has shown that it's incredibly achievable once people get together and decide to stop playing the ruling class's games.

        However, history has shown

i think that this is the key part. i'm unaware of a leftist victory in the global north since the great depression and i suspect it's because the hegemonic powers have gotten so good and so organized at mitigating possible class cohesion that we're stuck in this pattern until something very drastic happens to society centuries/millennia from now; making a leftist victory a practical impossibility for any of us in ours or the next several generation's lifetimes.

It's literally pollicital correctness gone mad.

Doesn't matter. Talk about talk about war crimes and state enforced segregation.

I'm guessing that's a great idea here. Either the censorship fails in a wave of "de-peoplising" memes or whatever, or they're forced to make the rules more and more dragnet until they're transparently fighting their own activists and party members.

Assuming there's not actually much grassroots support for memoryholing the whole situation, anyway.
