With that green colour, oven placement would be very much a secondary concern.
Reminds me of my grandma's kitchen growing up. Way more character than the soulless granite countetops, stainless steel appliances, and neutral cabinets that is in vogue now.
Yeah I don't think those shades of green belong in any kitchen
Tbh that counter would be a great staging area for all my little stir fry ingredient bowls
Assuming you didn't knock your hip while rounding the corner and spilling them everywhere!
This house is pretty cute (and priced within reach!), but that kitchen would annoy me...https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/2429-Woodley-Rd-Montgomery-AL-36111/72810736_zpid/
Is it that cheap just because it’s in Alabama?
I pay like double that for a flat
Yeah no. I had a kitchen with a similar wider end and that is perfect for a table, it even has a window ! The commitment to the green is a power choice, I would probably only keep the green doors and get the rest in a neutral colour.
I also kinda think this is a lot of storage space, I would be happy exchanging some for a dinig area.I might have rotated the oven 90 degrees counterclockwise and gotten rid of the island (peninsula , I guess) but I like having what would essentially be two prep stations working across from one another with one person right at the range top. This kitchen isn't actually that big from a square footage perspective but it looks like 4 or 5 people could comfortably work there without touching elbows.
I dig the oven placement. If I need to chop something, the counter is right there and I can have a beer closeby. Less space for people to crowd around you getting to other areas of the kitchen.
Agreed. Husband and I are constantly bumping ass because the space around our stove is just a hair too small. There's plenty of space to prep and drop cooked dishes.
I would enjoy a cubicle cooktop, i think
