I really hope they take a similar direction that the movies took and make it a squad based survival horror with a group of marines getting slowly picked apart by the aliens and following a similar style to the OG AvP marine campaign. Could even have a very cool asymmetrical multiplayer mode or maybe even some sort of invasion mechanic.
I would just love to see them do exactly what they did for Alien in all its homage but for Aliens. Maybe just a two player co-op campaign type deal with the option of playing solo with some sort of command/dialogue mechanic. IDK but if they could somehow pull that off it would be fucking amazing.

I hope they change very little about mechanics, any they mostly just update the graphics, and maybe add coop. New maps/story of course.
