12Georgia @ 1Texas
Georgia may be fast on the streets, but our players are faster than theirs on the field. Horns by a million
OK y'all, I've got to make an important meeting early in the morning so I have to get to bed. If (when) Texas loses, I will update the banner but it's going to be in the afternoon tomorrow
Comms go down briefly. How fitting that the headsets for both teams are sponsored by major airlines (Delta and AA)
Carson Beck is an outstanding quarterback
Says Herbie, on the play Beck throws his 2nd INT (which should have been his 3rd) in the first quarter
Incredible tip drill! And almost perfectly executed a flea flicker on the next play. That would have been a thing of beauty
Technically, do Army and Navy have unlimited NIL money provided by us taxpayers? 🤔
Michigan @ Illinois
Not sure if Illinois' unis are a crime against humanity or a brilliant fashion statement
ESPN's College Gameday
Really glad they moved the set back to the South Mall after having it next to the LBJ Presidential Library the last several years. The Tower makes a much better backdrop than DKR. Although I don't love that they used Smokey the Cannon to blow a hole through Beck's jersey. I was at Gameday in 2019 when they did that to Joe Burrow's jersey and remember how that turned out...
At this point in the season the only thing that I want is for Navy-Army to be an undefeated match-up.
Go Navy! (Mostly so my retired navy officer boss will be in a better mood around Christmas bonus season)
We can't have our defense start playing soft now. We could still lose this in the last 6 min.
Just switched over to your game to check the score and my goodness. Y'know what, screw our strength of schedule, banish ou to the bottom of the SEC standings, please
Watching Army for the first time this year and they are unlike any Army team I've ever seen. They can make awesome downfield passes, but still haven't lost their ability to churn out yards and slowly march down the field either. I love it
Indiana @ Nebraska
The stat that Indiana leads the series all time 10-9-3 threw me for a loop, but looking it up it's because Indiana won 7 consecutive meetings in the 1940s...
The ESPN announcers non stop taking about ND strength of schedule is making fucking furious. Yeah we know you own the sec network and make more money if they send more teams to the playoffs but holy shit there is fucking 0 justification keeping a 1 loss Notre Dame team out of a 12 team fucking playoff.
