That's a really great summary and something I've been thinking a lot about lately. Truth be told I'm not super deep into the subculture myself but have been interested for awhile. In the "real world" I often feel a pretty big disconnect between the persona I present and who I really am. Creating something that feels much closer to who I really am or want to be is very appealing to me.
