Summary
Regardless of Putin’s decision regarding the war in Ukraine, Russia’s economy is facing a crisis due to factors such as sanctions, a shrinking sovereign wealth fund, and a labor shortage. The war has boosted growth, but Russia cannot sustain it without significant economic consequences.
People who have been wrong about absolutely everything over the past two years are sure to be right this time.
Russia is basically in an unending economic crisis since 1990.
I don't think this is a "next morning" thing tho. I think i'll be more insidious just like what's happening in the us, railroad starting to fail, education taking a dip, higher mortality rates, stuff like that scattered over the years.
Given that Russia is now reindustrializing as the result of the war, seems like the opposite would be happening.
