The Tetons and the Snake River is a black and white photograph taken by Ansel Adams in 1942, at the Grand Teton National Park, in Wyoming. It is one of his best known and most critically acclaimed photographs.

My favorite photographer and idol! Nice to see him posted in the wild.
Photography took a lot more effort back then. Carrying a hefty camera to a mountain top, all the mess and chemicals in a darkroom. Dodging and burning manually... made for some wonderful and personal photos. In a sense film forces you to choose your shots carefully for a limited number of exposures. Here's to Ansell.
