I find the more friends I share it with, the less storage is needed for each additional friend since they mostly watch stuff already requested by my other friends. linkfedilink

minus-squareMrTolkinghoen@lemmy.ziphexbear2·11 hours agoIt was worth it. Finally cut the cord and got 6 12tb hdds. In raid 6 with zfs. Working so great. Just make sure you setup zfs to do monthly scans and email you for issues. One of my drives kept throwing errors and had to RMA it. linkfedilink
