Okay but is whataboutism even a logical fallacy or a bad argument? It's pointing out the hypocrisy of the west, and it always starts with someone criticizing the USSR or China or socialism in general.
I look at it as a way to justify to have one set of rules for the west and another for the rest. The west not having to hold itself to the same standard as its adversaries is what the whole rules based world order is all about.
But have considered China bad?
