There's a lot of reasons to find this list repulsive, but this one especially gets under my skin because it's so sex-centering ridiculous and it reminds me of how hollywood also tends to normalize this perspective by matching up any straight man and woman, as if it's a magnetic inevitability; sometimes to the point of forcing love triangles for no reason. Attraction is way more fickle and picky in reality. People can seem lovey dovey fine in one moment and then have one experience that seems irreconcilable and break it off. One person can feel somewhat interested in another and then learn something about them that puts them off and have the interest tank. And that's not even getting into the simple fact that having feelings for someone does not mean you have to act on them, like you have no self control, or that they will necessarily have feelings in return. Nor is having feelings something that will necessarily stick around over time, unrequited.
