Which means you only get people who really want to join GCHQ etc. for different reasons. linkfedilink

It's probably because they don't pay enough.
People with the qualifications/experience don't want to work in central London for £35k.
Which means you only get people who really want to join GCHQ etc. for different reasons.
Add to that. Distrust in government by younger citizens. So much recent news about current and past UK wrongs.
I'm surprised any younger recruits exist.
